TUSIAD Washington Representative Office offers part-time and full-time internships on a rolling basis for undergraduates and recent graduates who are interested in U.S.-Turkey relations. The internship is unpaid.
The Intern will provide administrative support and attend events on behalf of TUSIAD Washington office around Washington, D.C. area. Because some of our publications require editing in Turkish, Turkish language skills as well as a previous knowledge of the geopolitics of Turkey and its region are preferred. The TUSIAD Washington office opened in November 1998 in Washington, D.C. to enhance ties between the US and Turkey by representing and protecting the interests of the Turkish business community within the United States. We strive to be a conduit for exchange of information between Turkey and the United States on economic and political matters within the general framework of the mission of our parent organization. Our interns have the opportunity to be exposed to all aspects of U.S.-Turkey relations and benefit from an extensive networking opportunity.

Intern responsibilities: Attend events, conferences and panels around the Washington, D.C. area . Write a blog on US-Turkey relations based on events attended and current events . Contribute to the weekly “TUSIAD Turkey Letter” published in English and the weekly “Washington Gundemi” published in Turkish . Help with office tasks and duties as required.
